‘Trine Rein UNPLUGGED’ is Trine’s first fully acoustic album release, and her eleventh album in a row. The album is produced by Johannes Groth, a multi-talented and extremely gifted musician, composer, producer and singer. Through the years, with great success, Trine has been performing numerous acoustic concerts around Norway. This album is a way to formalize her work by recording some of her major hit songs in brand new and fresh acoustic arrangements along with five original tracks. The new tracks are written by Trine Rein and Johannes Groth, and Trine Rein and “Brothers” Taiwo- and Kehinde Karlsen (Playing for Keeps).
Another aspect is the explosive development of AI undermining everything that art stands for, and downright stealing bits and pieces of copyright protected sound recordings only to re-assemble them into new artificial music. This album is a personal vendetta against people choosing steel cold AI-sound tracks over genuine art created by real humans who are the only ones able to be emotionally moved by arts such as music. At this point, the album is only available for streaming. A vinyl release may be possible at a later point via crowdfunding.
