'Torn' anno 2026!🎶😃

I’m so excited to break these news: This year is the 30th anniversary for my version of ‘Torn’!🎉🎶 Can you even believe it has been all of 30 years since I first released that song back in 1996?😅

Well, I felt it was time to revisit this gem of a song, a song that has almost as many various recordings as it has followers. Through the years, I have probably played this song in every single concert I have performed, along with Just Missed the Train and Stay With me Baby.

I have had a great success with playing acoustic concerts in smaller clubs and venues all over the country, just me and my guitar player to back me up. It seems to be a more popular way of enjoying music when the performance is more intimate and stripped down - and so, I have decided to acoustically materialize some of the songs from my back catalogue in addition to a few newly written songs for the occasion. This new album is called ‘Trine Rein Unplugged’, and will be released on March 13th this year. But before that, I’ll give you my brand new, acoustic version of ‘Torn’ from the upcoming album!
