What do you have to prove when you’re half the way to 100? I think not much! ‘Prove Myself’ is out now, and this song became somewhat a milestone for me. After years and years of struggling to keep up, always trying to get ahead, positioning myself as an artist in the music business, and trying to accomplish goals that are set higher and higher each year, I finally came to peace with this: I am good enough. We all are.
This is a mid-tempo heartfelt pop song to encourage you to be happy where you are, and with who you are. I think the message is as much a message to myself as it is to all of you out there.
